An extreme heat watch has been issued for the Orange County and Santa Ana Mountains. The watch is in effect from Friday to Wednesday. The watch includes southern regions of California. Marina Jurica's NEXT Weather forecast and Pain In The Pass noted cooler temperatures initially, followed by another warm-up. Additionally, News 9 highlighted rain and storm systems moving in, before a nice weekend. The Sacramento Bee reported the watch is extended to southern California.
